Living Space, Reimagined
Transform unfinished concrete into a designer-quality floor. Moisture-resistant, mold-proof, dramatically easier to clean than carpet or tile.
Custom Basement Floors
Most Glendale Heights basements have one of two floors: bare concrete (cold, dusty, ugly) or builder-grade carpet (mold magnet, hard to clean, ruined by the first water incident). A premium epoxy or metallic coating solves both problems — you get a beautiful, sealed surface that's easier to maintain than tile and stays bone-dry during the worst spring rains.
For basements, we typically recommend one of two systems: solid-color epoxy with subtle flake for a clean modern look, or metallic epoxy for a swirled, one-of-a-kind designer finish that looks like polished marble or a luxury hotel lobby. Both are sealed with a durable top coat backed by our lifetime warranty.

Common Questions
The right coating is actually better than carpet or tile for this. Our top coat is fully waterproof — water beads on it. If you have occasional seepage, the floor sheds it and dries out fast (vs. carpet absorbing it and growing mold). For active leaks or visible moisture issues, that needs to be solved before coating, but we can still typically work around minor humidity.
Regular epoxy is solid-color (with optional flake on top). Metallic epoxy uses pigments mixed with metallic powders that the installer manipulates while wet — creating a swirled, three-dimensional, marble-like effect. Every metallic floor is one-of-a-kind. It costs more (premium materials and skilled application) but creates a genuine "wow" basement.
If you have existing radiant heat in the concrete slab, our coating works fine on top and doesn't insulate against it. If you want to add radiant heat, that's a separate concrete-work conversation — coatings happen after radiant heat is installed and tested.
1-2 days for a typical 1,000-1,500 sq ft basement. Larger basements (or basements with extensive concrete repair needed) may take 3 days. Empty the basement before we arrive and stay out of the workspace until we're done.
