Pricing & Quotes

Cost & Estimates

How much does a garage floor coating cost?

Most 2-car garages run $1,500-$3,500 depending on size and prep needed. 3-car garages typically $2,500-$4,500. We give free in-home quotes with exact written pricing — no bait-and-switch.

How much for a basement floor?

$6-$12 per square foot installed depending on the system you choose (solid color, flake, or metallic). Most residential basements are around 1,000 square feet. Metallic systems are at the upper end of the range; solid color + flake at the lower end.

What about commercial pricing?

Quoted per square foot after on-site assessment. Pricing depends on traffic level, chemical exposure, and any safety markings or zone delineation needed. Volume pricing on larger projects.

Why are some companies cheaper?

The lowest garage epoxy quotes you'll see are typically from unlicensed installers using big-box epoxy, no proper surface prep, no warranty. The coating often peels within 2-3 years. You'd pay twice — once for the cheap install, again to do it right. We're priced for premium materials and craftsmanship that lasts decades.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We work with several home-improvement financing partners offering 0% APR for 12 months on approved credit. We can discuss options during your free in-home consultation.

Materials & Durability

How Long It Lasts

How long does an epoxy floor actually last?

Our floors carry a lifetime warranty against peeling and delamination. Real-world lifespan is 15-25+ years for residential garages with normal use. Compare to cheap big-box DIY epoxy which typically peels in 2-4 years.

What makes a quality floor coating?

Three things: proper surface preparation (most coating failures start here — cheap installers skip the grinding step), professional-grade materials (not big-box DIY products), and experienced application (timing the layers correctly, achieving full flake broadcast). We do all three on every install.

What about hot tire pickup?

This is the #1 failure mode of cheap garage epoxy. When tires heat up from highway driving, they soften and lift cheap coatings off the floor in patches. Our premium systems are engineered to resist hot tire pickup — we've never had a customer report this issue.

Do you use UV-stable coatings?

Yes. Our top coats are UV-stable and won't yellow over time, even near garage doors that get direct afternoon sun. Cheaper coatings often yellow within 1-3 years.

Install & Timing

What to Expect

How long does install actually take?

Most residential garage installs take 1-2 days depending on size and concrete condition. Basements typically 1-2 days. Commercial varies by square footage. You'll get a clear timeline as part of your free written quote.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Empty the space being coated. For garages: move all vehicles, tools, freezers, shelving. For basements: move furniture, rugs, and stored items. We'll handle floor cleaning and prep — you just need to clear the workspace.

What if my concrete has cracks or stains?

Routine. We fill every crack with high-strength polymer (stronger than the surrounding concrete) and treat oil stains with appropriate prep. Most prep issues are included in the quoted price. Severe structural issues (sinking slabs, wide settlement cracks) are a separate concrete-repair conversation.

Can you install in winter?

Yes — we install year-round in DuPage County. Our crew uses heaters and the right coating systems for cold-weather work. The only delays are during active snowstorms (can't grind a wet, slushy floor).

Do I need to be home?

You need to let us in and walk through the space at the start, then we recommend being home for final walkthrough. Otherwise, we don't need you supervising. Many customers leave for work and come back to a finished floor.

Design & Colors

Style & Customization

What colors and styles can I choose?

Dozens of options. Most popular: charcoal blend (black/gray/white flake — clean showroom look), earth tones (brown/tan/cream — warm luxury look), and custom high-contrast designs. For basements, metallic systems offer one-of-a-kind swirled finishes. You'll see physical samples during your free consultation.

Can I match an existing color scheme?

Yes. Bring us a paint chip, fabric swatch, or photo and we'll match a flake blend to it as closely as the available flake colors allow.

Can you do logos or custom designs?

For commercial: yes — we can integrate logos, brand colors, safety markings, and zone delineation directly into the coating. For residential: more limited, but custom borders and color zones are possible.
